A Few Things to Know
-
Prices are starting rates for dogs with reasonably maintained coats.
-
Final pricing is based on the dog's actual size, coat type, coat condition, and grooming time required.
-
Significant matting, excessive coat buildup, or special handling needs will be discussed before proceeding if they affect the service or price.
-
Double-coated breeds are not shaved as a routine grooming service. Their coat and skin needs will be considered when choosing appropriate grooming options.
-
Please share your dog's breed or mix, approximate size, coat condition, and desired style when requesting an appointment.

Meet Your Groomer
Hi! I'm so glad you're here. My name is Makayla, and I'm the proud owner and groomer behind Underdog Grooming Spa.
As a Deaf business owner and certified professional groomer, I love helping dogs look and feel their very best. Grooming isn't just my career—it's something I'm truly passionate about.
I offer a cage-free, one-on-one grooming experience from my home-based salon, so your dog receives my full attention in a calm, quiet, and low-stress environment. There are no crowded waiting areas or long hours in a kennel—just personalized care from start to finish.
For added convenience, I also offer mobile grooming, bringing professional grooming services right to your home. Whether you visit my home salon or choose mobile grooming, my goal is to make the experience as comfortable and stress-free as possible for both you and your pet.
Every dog is treated like family with patience, kindness, and gentle care. I'm happy to communicate through text, email, or ASL, making it easy for every client to stay connected.
Thank you for trusting me with your furry family member. I look forward to meeting you and providing a grooming experience you'll both love!
